Event Details

These days we all create, and we all consume the creative work of others. Arts Law Conversations is intended for artists (musicians, filmmakers, writers, performers, visual artists); for industry professionals (agents, managers, lawyers, galleries, venues); for teachers and students; for the business community. In 52 short, understandable “Conversations” featuring characters in real-life situations, Russell helps readers spot and understand the legal issues that too often cause creators and consumers alike to roll their eyes and use bad words. Elizabeth T Russell holds an undergraduate degree in music from the State University of New York at Fredonia. She earned her law degree from the Pace University School of Law. Russell developed and taught university classes around the book, for arts students at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and the State University of New York College at Fredonia. When not teaching, writing, or lawyering she practices photography and stand-up comedy.
