Books & Books @ The Studios of Key West will host a celebration of books and community organized by May Sands Montessori School, a public school of choice, on Saturday, May 12, from 10am to 6pm. The celebration aims to encourage enthusiasm for books and reading and an appreciation of the literary arts in the community and the younger minds of the islands. “We cherish our community partnerships and really appreciate their support,” says Jessica Pellegrino, May Sands Montessori School parent and this year’s book fair chairperson. “This is a great opportunity for people to come together to celebrate books, support free Montessori education in the Lower Keys, and to pick up that last-minute Mother’s Day gift!” Books & Books @ The Studios will donate a percentage of the day’s sales to May Sands Montessori when shoppers present the school’s digital bookmark from the school's Facebook page. May Sands Montessori will shows its thanks by offering shoppers a chance at a $50 Books & Books @ The Studios gift card with each purchase using the bookmark.
